Good Morning Bloggers,
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it....Isn't it wonderful to start the day with a song in your heart. Much like those birdies singing this morning, I am singing praise and worship to my Father in Heaven.....WAHOO!
Recap of weekend. Friday night, I was blessed with a Visit from little Kaden Slack, for those who don't know, he is the 6 month old son of Mandy (Gould) and Coby Slack.
HE is a JOY. He arrived at a little after 5, we had the best time playing and cooing and laughing. WE discovered grass and the texture of it in our mouth and between our toes and fingers. We learned that we could call Spike (the dog) and he would coming running right for Kaden, Grammie Katie would lift Kaden high in the air just before Spike would reach him, then there would be peals of laughter. Oh, it was such fun. The smile on a childs face when they recognize you, can melt even the toughest character.
Saturday morning went to prayer, then to Curves. Then went home, cleaned house top to bottom. Did all the domestic stuff. Then prepared a meal for Mr Leonard. Pork chops, potatoes, steamed veggies and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Sunday....Church, great sunday school lesson, message was brought by Sis Mandy Slack. Then went and had lunch with my mother and took her shopping. Got home at a little after 4. Went back to town to get dog food. Then on to Church for evening service.
I am reminded of what JOB went through. He loved the Lord. As Christians we face things on a daily basis, that are sometimes very trying. Our proving ground will determine our eternity. The things JOB went through, we will probably never face, but if we should we can do as HE did.....PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD and PRAISE THE LORD....Happy Monday.

Sis. Katie, it sounds like you had a blast! I met Sis. Mandy when she did a revival for us a couple of years ago. She is really precious. I'm sure she's a great little mother!

Thank you Sis Tammi. I am just a big ole dumb kid, my outlook comes from the Lord who loves me, like no other has ever loved me. When you grow thinking your not much, then the God of this universe calls your name, and says I love YOU daughter, it makes you realize, that everything that you are is only because of HIM....PRAISE THE LORD.
You bless me Sis, have a GREAT day in HIM.
