I have come to realize that my walk with the Lord is a very serious walk. My soul depends on my behavior towards the Lord, His Church, My brothers and sisters, and my family.
But I have also come to realize that a saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost individual can have FUN!
After reading the many blogs, i think i have become the proverbial stick in the mudd!
I was reading sister melanies post last night, and it felt ssssssssssoooooooo good to laugh, i mean the deep belly laugh. Sis Hornes posts have left me on the edge of my chair waiting for what will happen next!
I could go on and on about each of you as I have read your posts..the point i guess i am trying to make is...that I can have fun, I can enjoy my brothers and sisters...and cut up with them. This may seem silly to some. But sometimes here lately i have felt to "STUFFY".
Thank you for welcoming me into the blog world, it is truly nice to laugh and lighten up....i pray that your weekends are blessed, that the Lord is with you in your services.
Keep the midicine coming one and all!

you funny momma!
Laughing does feel so good. Sometimes I can laugh at the silliest things. Like last night the kids and I were pishing buttons and our phone playing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" .Silly I know, but I haven't laughed so much in ages!
I pray your weekend is also blessed.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
I can't say I have found you a bit "stuffy" Sis but it is true that we need to laugh. I'm pretty much on the serious side too but I love a good laugh and the Lord puts some of these ladies in my path to keep me giggling. They also bless me spiritually though too. Your devotions and posts have been a blessing to me soul.
Yes...I can see Janet (Vikkidreams), Rachel's Mom, playing with phone buttons with her kids. She is a very spontaneous person and enjoys life with her family. Despite being in a wheelchair with MS, she is always up for some fun. When Rachel and Brad were falling in love, and he was going to head home, she put all the kids in the van and followed the two of them halfway back to NC so Rach could be with him longer!

LOL... well Julie it was sure worth it to follow Brad 1/2 back to NC. Look at what we got out of it.
A great son in law and a new grandbaby!
What precious souls, that I call sisters, bless y'all especially this day...Glory to God.
Sorry my post hit twice...crazy blog thing. I appreciate you too, Sister Katie. Keep Janet in a lot of prayer. Her son Josh is in Iraq and she is trying to keep everyone's spirits up back home. Josh got married right before he left and his wife, Heather, is waiting at home. Tough stuff to deal with! Rachel is the oldest of seven...can you imagine????
I love her Sis, and I haven't even met her...Yes I will..love you too, have a blessed day and remember all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
