LOVE

The New Testament reduces the laws of The Old Testament to one overriding rule: LOVE.
If we want to know what true love is, we only need to study God's behavior towards us.
God is generous, forbearing, kind, faithful, supportive, nurturing, forgiving, and just.
He is everything we want and need.
We exist in God and know God through our own acts of love. He is in the face of everyone we reach out to, no matter from what station in life he or she might come. His love is in our gentle word to a friend in pain, in the simple work of making
a home for our family, and in the kindness we show to a stranger. When we LIVE in LOVE, we become more and more like God.
WE, (speaking of THE Church of GOD Family)are a huge family! Families have squabbles! When we learn to live in the love that God showers on US, THEN, we will be perfected and on our way home.....WAHOO.
I love you dear blogger family. Even though I have never met some of you, in the spirit this morning, I am filled with such love...Oh Dear Lord, please fill our hearts each day with love for you and those whose lives we touch. Thank you for FIRST loving us and showing us how to love others.
