Hello All...Thank you for asking MT...yes I have been busy. I do my blogging at work. As it gets closer to federal buying season, I will have even less time!
I had a wonderful weekend...THANK YOU LORD.
I called my mother in law to see if we could take her out to Big Jud's for a Mothers Day Shake and Cheeseburger, she said yes, of course! We had a great time visiting and enjoying one another's company.
On Sunday, I called my momma and asked her if I could join her for lunch after Church. She said ya, that would be great to come ahead...so just on a whim I asked my husband if he would go with me....he hesitated but didn't say no, so I took that to mean yes and called her back to have her put us down for 2!
I left right after church, went home and picked up husband then went and had dinner with my momma. We had a great time visiting and talking about folks that she and my husband had both worked with.. Momma lives in a retirement community and some of the folks that live there also used to work at UPRR when she did, my husband is still at UPRR.
The meal was wonderful. Then we went back to her apartment and sat and visited, I think we all nodded off some! Then there was this KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK at the door, it startled me. Momma went to door and it was my two nephews...it was nice to see them. They and my husband got along fine....PRAISE THE LORD.
We finally left Momma's around 3:30 or so. Went home and mowed yard and put water on Garden. I had broken a bolt on the grass catcher tube, so husband fixed it and didn't even YELL....WAHOO....PRAISE THE LORD! THEN, husband said it would be ok to have ICE CREAM together after church....now that may not seem like much to a lot of folks, but it was a day made especially for me, by my precious Lord and SAVIOR.
Thank you Jesus, for taking care of me and letting me know, that even though I am nothing in and of myself, that I am everything in YOU, that I am made in YOUR image and that you love ME very much...Thank you Lord, for the big and the little precious moments that mean so much.
Thankyou to all of you who sent the Mothers Day wishes. I do look forward to the time that I can hug each of your necks and tell you IN person how much I appreciate each of you.
May your day be blessed...and Remember. He is so good to us, let us return the favor.
Also, remember to fast and pray for the up-coming presbytery meeting...love and prayers to all....WAHOO, PTL!

Wow! What a wonderful weekend you had. That is such a blessing. I do value those special little things that wouldn't seem very important to others, like my husband taking me shopping at Michaels. I can see that going for ice cream after church with your sweetie would fit right into that category. Praise the Lord for ALL things whether they be great or small!
Thank you.
I WANT one of those things you bought...what are they called again? We don't have a michaels anymore!
Xyron 500 or Xyron 900. You can find them online at Xyron.com. I don't know if you can get them at Walmart or not. Do you have a local craft store? Maybe they could order one if you didn't want to order it online.
If you know my dad then you know how amazing it is he did all that! That's truly a miracle in itself for him to participate in all mom talked about. pray for him, he needs Jesus. I love my papa.
