Thank you

Hello All,

I do not know how many still read my blog, but to whomever....it is a surreal time in our lives. As a mother, I cannot fix this, I cannot kiss this and make it better. As a mother in law, I have never been more proud, my son in law, in my eyes was perfect...as a tribute to his character and his love of his Lord. He would call me and visit, he would tell me about his work, his side jobs, the daily things going on with him. I have such treasured memories of him. His love for our daughter was like none other I have ever witnessed. His love for his family, was phenomenal. He never let anything stop him. He fought the good fight of faith until the very end. His legacy of love and determination, will live on in the lives of those he has touched forever. Words cannot express how I feel about this remarkable young man. I will surely miss him. I know he has gone ahead of us to make sure that all of our mansions are painted just right.
I wish to express my heart felt thanks to all of you who are praying for Kasey, Yvonne and Andy, Judy and the boys and Fancy. I want to thank you for all of your out pouring of love, in your thoughts and prayers, in your time spent and the food prepared and the monetary gifts as well. Your love and your time are very much appreciated. THANK YOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU. May God richly bless you for your giving....your sister in Christ.

YOU are Special, a Reminder.

$20.00

Sometimes we just need to be reminded!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill.
In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.
You are special!!
Don't EVER forget that!
Count your blessings, not your problems.
And remember: amateurs built the ark ... professionals built the Titanic.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it!

love and prayers, one and all, you are special to me and to HIM.

Just P.U.S.H.

A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filledwith light, and God appeared.
The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin.
The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all hismight...So, this the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun-up to sun-down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might!
Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling thathis whole day had been spent in vain. Since the man was showing discouragement, the Adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the weary mind: (He will do it every time)! You have been pushing against that rock for a long time and it hasn'tmoved." Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. Satan said, "Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough. "That's what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matterof Prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to The Lord. "Lord," he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What iswrong? Why am I failing? "The Lord responded compassionately, "My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done.
Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push.
And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back shiny and brown; your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be Obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My Wisdom. That you have done. Now I, my friend, will move the rock.
"At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He Wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him.
By all means, exercise the Faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God Who moves The Mountains.
